Exhibitors’ comments 2010

Craig Davis, Sales and Marketing Director Europe for Tesla Motors:
“The Friedrichshafen tradeshow grounds are situated between our sites in Munich and Zurich. So this offers us an excellent opportunity to inspire automobile fans by giving them a unique Tesla Roadster experience. Next year we hope that “the electric avenue” will demonstrate and share the experience of even more e-mobility. For Tesla Motors e-mobility means the clear and uncompromising move from fossil fuels to renewable energies. This is how to combine high performance and the fun of driving with a clear conscience.”

Uwe P. Deller, Director of Technology Communication at Adam Opel GmbH:
“The electric avenue” exhibition presents an exciting overall concept that offers a unique, comprehensive and elegant range in conjunction with the vintage car fair “Klassikwelt Bodensee”. We are involved with the mobility of the future and our concept is expanding here in Friedrichshafen. We will return.”

Peter Böhmler, Project Director‚ E-drive-technology, Kendrion-Linnig, Markdorf:
“At the first “electric avenue” show we presented just one vehicle. This year we have developed our technology further and have taken a booth for the first time. Our corporate concept is to combine existing drive technology with electric motors. The impetus behind our developments is to minimize CO2 emissions and to manage the daily commuter traffic using electricity. We are providing a lot of awareness training here on the booth. We explain to our prospective buyers that we can supply the drive engineering to conversion companies. “Electric avenue” offers us the opportunity to acquire partners and suppliers for our new concept and to expand our network. We see our contribution here as a significant step forward.”

Heiko Dehning, Senior Partner and Chair of the Board at INCOVIS AG:

“We think that the concept of bringing together the past and the future is great. Unfortunately, the subject of electrification, at least as far as cars are concerned, is still in its infancy.
This is why the conference for industry experts was a good addition to “the electric avenue” expo which is primarily focused on consumers. At the trade show grounds in Friedrichshafen it was possible to obtain a good overview of what is available on the market at the moment. Many thanks for working with us!”
